"Breznik Minerals Ltd. has adopted as its mission the aspiration to create new opportunities for the people and communities in which it develops its projects.

It is our responsibility that the activities of our work contribute to social and economic development and well-being through:

• hiring employees from the region on a priority basis and providing competitive remuneration for their work
• cooperating with local contractors and suppliers
• improving the financial well-being of municipalities through the payment of concession fees, taxes and charges
• supporting local community development programmes

At the start of each of Breznik Minerals' planned projects, the company is committed to following the course of support for communities that has made Asarel-Medet JSC the largest employer, taxpayer, insurer and donor in the Pazardzhik region.

"Asarel-Medet" JSC provides for the municipality of Panagyurishte:

• Over 70% of local taxes and fees and over 30% of all revenues in the budget of Panagyurishte Municipality
• Over 60% of the cash income of the population in the municipality, not taking into account the income from shareholders' dividends
• More than 30% of the jobs employed in the business sector of the municipality plus about 6400 other jobs in the municipality and the country serving the company

• We pursue a philanthropic policy with a priority on the implementation of significant infrastructure projects and improving the standard of living in the municipality where our project takes place
• actively participate in and promote regional, national and sectoral business association and integration of efforts to create a favourable business climate.
