In just four days, all the places for the Open Day at Breznik Minerals announced for 12 June 2025 were filled. The interest was so great that the program had to be extended by one more day to allow the company's team to present its activities to a wide range of guests.

The Regional Governor of Pernik, representatives of three ministries and a member of the Board of Directors of Bulgarian Energy Holding were among the dignitaries who honoured the invitation to visit the company's facilities.

24 hours before them, the local visitors represented a colourful palette of inquisitive people - from artists to geologists, from merchants to mayors, from students to pensioners, from current colleagues in the industry to potential colleagues looking for a job in the company. All of them took part in the prepared familiarization tour and had the opportunity to meet personally the engineers and experts who implement the Breznik project.

The youngest visitor from the town was a 20-year-old student at the Mining and Geological University. The oldest was a 77-year-old resident of Breznik, who has visited the company before, and at the end of the day was already looking forward to other similar events he might join.

The most attractive part of the visit is usually the underground workings. With great readiness, the guests put on the mining lamps and posed for photos standing alongside the drill operators.

All participants in the Open Day were personally welcomed by the Manager of Breznik Minerals Eng. Chenko Gerov. In his address to those who responded to the invitation, he drew attention to the fact that the purpose of the event was to give all interested parties the opportunity to learn about the progress in the development of the Milin Kamak deposit and to gain personal insights into the standards of work in the implementation of different types of activities. Special emphasis this year was placed on modern equipment, long-term planning and water management processes.
